BOSTON – Suffolk baseball starts its quest for Commonwealth Coast Conference glory tomorrow, May 7 as the third-seeded Rams entertain sixth-seed Wentworth at 4:00 p.m. at East Boston Memorial Park.

SUFFOLK IN THE CCC TOURNAMENT
- The Rams will make the program's fourth trip and fourth in as many years to the CCC tournament.
- Suffolk is 2-6 in the CCC postseason.
- Both of the blue-and-gold's victories in the CCC Tourney have come in the Play-In Game, as the sixth seed, and over Gordon.
- Suffolk is making its first-ever trip to the CCC Tournament as the third seed.
- The Rams will host their third CCC Tournament contest.
- Suffolk is unbeaten, 2-0, at home in CCC Tournament clashes.
- Suffolk and Wentworth will meet in the CCC playoffs for the first time.
- Suffolk is looking for its first win in the double-elimination bracket of the CCC Tournament, 0-4.
- Suffolk is 0-6 when playing a CCC Tournament game on the road.
RAMS RUNDOWN
Suffolk saw its nine-game win streak come to an end over the weekend as it fell to Hartford in a doubleheader to dip to 24-15 on the year.
Harry painter (57 H, 42 RBI, 45 R) and Jonny Gilbride (44 H, 46 RBI, 48 R) have been offensive forces for the Rams this season along with Garret Roberts (49 H, 33 RBI), Alex Sorenti-Burns (40 H, 40 RBI, 36 R) and Max Iorio (37 H, 34 RBI, 33 R).
The Rams pitching rotation should be good to go for the CCC Tournament in Roberts (54.1 IP, 5.30 ERA, 42 K), Pierce Salbego (52.2 IP, 47 K), Brett Bucklin (50.1 IP, 37 K) and Painter (35.2 IP, 3.53 ERA, 51 K).
LEOPARDS LOOK
Wentworth fell in three straight games to end the regular season to bring a 21-17 overall mark into the tournament. The Leopards were outscored 30-8 in that three-game skid.
A.T. DiPina is the offensive force for the Leopards with 51 hits, 26 RBI and 30 runs scored. Matthew Favazzao has added 48 hits, 28 RBI and 29 runs scored. Both DiPina and Favazzo have swiped 13 bases on the base paths apiece. Christian Peruzzi rounds out the top trio of threats at the plate with 43 hits, 32 RBI and 30 runs scored.
Brodi Farinas (48.1 IP, 4.66 ERA, 31 K) and Jon Campbell (43.1 IP, 5.19 ERA, 43 K) are the most well-rested starters for WIT.
WE MEET AGAIN
Suffolk swept the regular season twinbill with Wentworth April 20. The Rams handled the Leopards in game one, 12-2, in seven innings and took game two, 7-3.

The winner of Tuesday's tilt advances to the winner bracket and will face second seed Roger Williams Thursday, May 9 at 10 a.m. The loser, meanwhile, will wait for the outcome of the decision of the game against the Hawks and will compete in an elimination game Thursday in Bristol, Rhode Island.
