LAST TIME OUT
Despite taking a lead in the first inning, Suffolk baseball could not hold off the hot Roger Williams bats as the Hawks put up eight runs over the sixth, seventh and eighth innings to hand the Rams an 11-1, eight-inning setback in the nightcap of a Commonwealth Coast Conference twinbill at Paolino Field Sunday.

RAMS RUNDOWN
Suffolk could not find the win column last week as it fell in all three games to dip to 6-8 on the year and 2-2 in CCC contests.

Three players have surpassed the 20-hit mark to anchor the Rams' 90-run offense in Harry Painter (26 H, 15 RBI, 7 R), Jonny Gilbride (24 H, 11 RBI, 17 R) and Garret Roberts (20 H, 10 RBI, 7 R). Both Painter and Gilbride has swiped six bases.

Starters Caleb Piwnicki (13. IP, 13 K) and Painter (13.1 IP, 6.07 ERA) have the most rest and one will likely earn the nod Tuesday.

GET TO KNOW THE GULLS
Endicott, who is ranked seventh in the latest d3baseball.com and 14th in the Collegiate Baseball Newspaper Poll, has rattled off five wins in a row to hold a 15-3 overall record and 3-0 league ledger. The Gulls are unbeaten, 8-0, at home.

Caleb Shpur and Kyle Grabowski have powered the Gulls at the plate. Shpur has brought int 28 runs on 27 hits behind a .386 average with 23 runs scored. Grabowski, meanwhile, has 26 hits, 20 RBI and a team-best 25 runs.

Three starters are well rested for Endicott: John Connolly (2.25 ERA, 20.0 IP, 8 K), Brady Stuart (2.33 ERA, 19.1 IP, 12 K) and Nicholas Cannata (9.90 ERA, 10.0 IP, 15 K).
