LAST TIME OUT
In an edge-of-your-seat, down-to-the-wire finish, Max Iorio's bat brought in the game-winning run in the eighth and Caleb Piwnicki shoved a scoreless ninth to lock-up a 4-3 game two win over Nichols Sunday afternoon at East Boston Memorial Park. The victory secured the CCC doubleheader sweep of the Bison.

RAMS RUNDOWN
Thanks to its sweep of Nichols on Sunday, Suffolk improved to 6-5 on the season.

The Rams offensive is producing 7.81 runs per game behind 11.73 hits per contest. The trio of Harry Painter (.431/.463/.647, 22 H, 15 RBI, 7 R), Jonny Gilbride (.457/.518/.652, 21 H, 11 RBI, 16 R) and Garret Roberts (.432/.500/.659, 19 H, 10 RBI, 7 R) have anchored Suffolk's scoring unit, both bringing in and scoring runs. Max Iorio has been a great addition as of late with 11 hits on a .478 connection rate for seven RBI and eight runs scored.

Painter will likely earn one of the nods in the midweek action. The sophomore holds a 5.79 ERA over 9.1 innings of work in two appearances, both starts, with 13 punchouts. The second starter could be a number of different options: Caleb Piwnicki (9.1 IP, 8.68 ERA, 13 K), Shreyas Parikh (5.2 IP, 6 K), Pierce Salbego (4.0 IP) or Jake Washock (5.2 IP, 6 K). Billy Beneke (0.00 ERA, 4.0 IP, 6 K) and Shawn Nosky (1.93 ERA, 4.2 IP, 2 K) may come out of the pen for the blue-and-gold.

BEAVERS BREAKDOWN
Babson, who is 6-7 on the year, takes a four-game win streak into Wednesday's action. That wining stretch features shutouts over Wooster (16-0) and Nichols (7-0).

The top two bats for the Beavers are hitting over .370. Michael Cook leads thew ay with 20 hits and 10 RBI behind a 4.00/.474/.440 slash line to go along with five runs scored. Brant Savage (.370) has 20 hits as well with a team-best 16 RBI and nine runs scored.

Babson's staff has combined for a 4.60 ERA and has used six different starters. Tristen Spalter (3.55 ERA, 25.1 IP, 17 K), Griffin Cofsky (2.0 IP, 1 K), and Stephen McLendon (5.68 ERA, 6.1 IP, 4 K) will be available on Wednesday.
