BOSTON – In lieu of the cancellation of the Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) 2020-21 winter season, Suffolk Athletics is proud to unveil our "Ram of the Week" Award, which will be presented every Monday to one student-athlete from the competing teams, voted by Ram Nation via Twitter poll.
AND THE WINNER IS …
With over 60.0 percent of the 231 votes casted, women's basketball's Natalie Fraioli has been named Ram of the Week for her efforts in a 2-0 weekend against Endicott.
Fraioli got the action against Endicott going on Saturday with a 10-point, eight-rebound effort to help defeat the Gulls, 61-54, and followed that up with a game-high 16-point performance the next day. To go along with her offensive output at Larry E. and Michael S. Smith Court, the junior from Sutton, Massachusetts supplied seven caroms in the 61-48 win over the Gulls.
In the two-game stretch, Fraioli shot 69 percent from the field converting 9 of her 13 attempts with the lefty not missing a single triple taken (3-3) in her 61 minutes on the court. Fraioli the home-and-home series with an average of 13.0 points and 7.5 rebounds per game.

2ND PLACE – 32.5 % of Votes – Natasha Savage – Women's Hockey
2 GP – 1st Collegiate Goal – 11 Blocked Shots
Suffolk women's hockey took on Endicott for the first time in program history and Natasha Savage had a first of her own in the foe's first-ever meeting Saturday night at Raymond J. Bourque Arena. The junior found the back of the net for the first time in her collegiate career. She was one of three Rams to get a puck past an Endicott netminder in the home-and-home series. Over the two games with the Gulls, the Warwick, Rhode Island local backed up the blue-and-gold goalies as well, with 11 blocked shots.
3RD PLACE – 4.8 % of Votes – Alex Jacovides – Men's Basketball
Alex Jacovides is the first two-time Ram of the Week nominee and his numbers from the 1-1 week against Endicott prove why. The senior started the weekend with a career-high 34-point offensive output, to become just the second player in the Jeff Juron era to produce back-to-back 30-plus point games. The next day in Beverly, Massachusetts, the sharp shooter from Tampa, Florida, provided 19 points and seven rebounds to average 26.5 ppg on a 45.7 connection rate from the floor with 7.5 rpg.
