USTFCCCA RELEASE

NEW ORLEANS – Suffolk women's cross country stayed in the fifth spot in the East in the latest U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) regional rankings, the national organization announced Tuesday.

The Rams remained fifth after a handful of student-athletes raced at the New England Intercollegiate Amateur Athletic Association (NEICAAA) Championships in Hopkinton, New Hampshire.

Suffolk made its regional poll debut in the Week 7 edition of the 2021 campaign and has been present in all, but one since.

The Rams are one of two Conference of New England (CNE) programs to be recognized this week as the University of New England stayed 10th in the East.

Suffolk returns to action this weekend as it heads to Waterford, Connecticut for the Connecticut College Invitational Saturday, Oct. 19.
