DARTMOUTH, Mass. – Suffolk women's cross country finished 24th at the UMass Dartmouth Invitational Saturday.
The Rams combined for 669 points on the Coach Robert Dowd Cross Country 5k course Saturday to claim 24th in the 39-team field.
A pair of Suffolk student-athletes produced personal-best in the event in the 49th installment of the meet, while Skyler Goodman and April Banuelos ran a 5k for the first time with a blue-and-gold bib.
Goodman anchored the six Suffolk runners in the varsity meet. She clocked a 19:08.55 to take 46th in the field of 284.
Sarah Roberts finished inside the top-100 with a persona-record of 19:52.97, good for 94th.
Sydney Fogg logged a 20:46.55 to claim 156th and Jocelyn Triscik produced a career-high 5k time of 21:38.65 to finish 198.
Christina Baggitt (208th) and Banuelos (236th) came through the varsity finisher's chute in 21:55.47 and 23:10.54, respectively.
Sarah Forrister and Shannon MacArthur represented the Rams in the JV race. Forrister clocked a 23:32.96 in her first 5k at Suffolk, while MacArthur produced a personal-best of 23:53.92.
Suffolk will be back in action next Saturday, Sept. 24 at the Bowdoin Invitational in Brunswick, Maine.
