2020 SUFFOLK WOMEN'S CROSS COUNTRY ROSTER
BOSTON – Suffolk women's cross country has announced seven additions to the roster for the 2020 season, head coach Will Feldman unveiled.
"This year we have our largest class of freshmen runners, and it is extremely talented from the top down," Feldman said. "Graduating two conference champions in Emma (Weisse) and Emily (Manfra) last year definitely left a void to be filled, but this year's group of freshmen has given us a much deeper team than we have had in prior years."
Feldman continued, "It wouldn't surprise me at all if in a year or two we are talking about a couple of these leadings making their first appearance at Nationals. De (Moreno), Sydney (Fogg), Hailey (Applebee) and Jocelyn (Triscik) all have the ability to contend for all-conference honors right away. Eliszabeth (Sweeney) and Daisey (Jones) are under the radar, but will be big contributors for us over the next four years. I'm excited to see their development as I think they will definitely surprise some folks."
Suffolk's traditional season was postponed due to the COVID-19 pandemic, however, the blue-and-gold was able to get training sessions in this fall with the Rams' rookies debut possible for Spring 2021.
