THE COURSE
Originally built in the late 1980s, the SJC Cross Country course was redesigned in 2006 by former Saint Joseph's (Maine) cross country coach Tom Dan. The trail is built within the woods of the campus and offers many challenging obstacles. It has many different routes, which create two different courses for men and women. Also, included in the course is "Monks Misery," known by many as the most challenging part of the course, which goes around Lakeside field and has many hard turns and steep hills that challenge even the most skilled runner.
