Six Meets Comprise the 2019 Cross Country Campaign

BOSTON – Head coach Will Feldman unveiled that the Suffolk men's and women's cross country teams will compete in six races across three months in addition to postseason appearances in 2019.

Action gets underway the last day of August for the second straight season when the Rams make their first of what will be two trips to Keene, New Hampshire for the Early Bird Invitational.

The lone match of September sends Suffolk to Dartmouth, Massachusetts, for the UMass Dartmouth Invitational (Sept. 21).

Suffolk returns to where the season began with its second trip to the Granite State on the docket Saturday, Oct. 5 for the Keene State College Invitational.

The Rams will have one final tune-up before the conference championships, the Suffolk Invite, which is set for Saturday, Oct. 12. On that same day at Franklin Park, the blue-and-gold will vie for Boston bragging rights when it clashes against Emerson in a head-to-head competition, the Battle for Boston Common. A year ago, in the inaugural bout, both of Suffolk's squads took home the title.

Two weeks later the Rams will run for GNAC glory. Saint Joseph's (Maine) welcomes its conference counterparts to Standish, Maine, Saturday, Nov. 2 for the 2019 championships. Last season on SJC's Course, each of Suffolk's squads put together runner-up performances.

NCAA Regionals will be held in Brunswick, Maine on Nov. 16 and the NCAA Division III National Championships will take place on Nov. 23in Louisville, Kentucky.
