GREAT BARRINGTON, Mass. – A trio of Ram runners lifted the lid on their 2018 campaigns as the Suffolk women's cross country team was represented by Natalie Fay, Skyler Spanbauer and Emma Weisse at the Suffolk Duals, which featured Lasell and Newbury, at the Great Barrington Fairgrounds Friday.  

Weisse put on a running clinic, clocking in a sub-6-minute mile to complete the 3k in 11:07.2 to take first. The junior captain was 1:45.3 of the 17-man field, teammate Spanbauer, who made her collegiate debut in the Berkshires.  

Fay rounded out Suffolk's three competitors as the sophomore placed inside the top 10 with a ninth-place showing with a time of 14:13.8. 

Suffolk will return to action Saturday, Sept. 15 when it runs at the UMass Dartmouth Invitational.
