Women’s Cross Country Takes Course at Keene State Invitational

BOSTON – On a rainy Saturday in New England, the Suffolk women's cross country team headed to the Granite State to race at the Keene State Invitational.

In a field featuring Brandeis, the sixth-best team across the region, Emma Weisse turned in an eighth-place showing, finishing the 5k course in 19:20 thanks to an 6:14 minute-mile.

Michelle Kearney came through the finisher's chute in 23:15 to finish 57th overall, while Alison Espindola crossed the tape in 27:27 to place 73rd.

Withny King rounded out the Rams' racers with a time of 29:10, good for 78th. 

Suffolk will race again Friday, Oct. 13 when it competes at the Saints Invitational at Franklin Park in Boston
