BOSTON – 

The Suffolk men's and women's cross country teams are set to travel to Biddeford, Maine, Saturday, Sept. 10 to open their 2016 campaigns at the UNE Invitational. The women's 5k race is scheduled to begin at 10:45 a.m., followed by the men's heat at 11:30 a.m.

THE COURSE
Both races – the women's 5k and men's 8 k – will take place at Rotary Park. 

THE FIELD
Twelve College and Universities from around New England will make the trip to Biddeford, Maine. Joining the Rams at the invite will be Endicott, Gordon, Lasell, Lyndon State, Mass. Maritime, Mount Ida, Nichols, Plymouth, Thomas, Wentworth, Worcester State and the hosts, the University of New England.   

AT THE HELM
James Petersen is in his second season as Suffolk's head cross country coach for the men's and women's squads.

Suffolk races next weekend at the Raiders Invitational in Nashua, New Hampshire.
