Cross Country to Race at Six Meets in 2016

2016 WOMEN'S CROSS COUNTRY SCHEDULE | 2016 MEN'S CROSS COUNTRY SCHEDULE

BOSTON – The Suffolk cross country programs announced their 2016 competition slate Tuesday afternoon and the Rams will compete in six meets in the upcoming season. 

The six events are spread across September and October with the Rams taking three courses in each month. The first gun of the season will be fired at the James Sheehan Invitational Saturday, Sept. 3 in Fitchburg, Massachusetts. After a week off, the Rams will head travel around New England with a trip to Nashua, New Hampshire, for Rivier's Raiders Invitational in store Saturday, Sept. 17, before Suffolk gets its first test on the GNAC Championship Course in Boston's Franklin Park for the Codfish Bowl Invitational a week later. 

October gets underway in Westfield, Massachusetts, at the James Early Invitational Saturday, Oct. 8 and the regular season concludes in Beantown at Emmanuel's 11th Annual Saints Invitational Friday, Oct. 14 at Franklin Park. 

Following a week off, the Rams will run for the conference crown at Franklin Park Saturday, Oct. 29.
