Women’s Cross Country Takes Third at Raiders Invitational

NASHUA, N.H. – Paced by Michelle Kearney, who finished the 5K in 24:20, the Suffolk women's cross country team finished third of seven teams on a gorgeous Saturday morning at the Raiders Invitational on the campus of Rivier University. 

Kearney placed ninth overall in a competitive field of 50. Caitlyn Caramello finished just 10 seconds behind Kearney to take place. Also finishing one right after another was Shannon Allesandroni and Felicia Kalil. Allesandroni's time f 27:06 was good for 21st, while Kalil took 22nd at 27:27. Audrey Kopich (25th, 28:15), Alyssa Elliott (31st, 29:52) and Karen Diaz (33rd, 30:01) rounded out the runners in blue-and-gold. 

Emerson won the meet with 32 points and Newbury College was second with 75. Just nine points was behind was Suffolk who tied with New Hampshire Institute of Technology with 86.
