Buzzards Bay, Mass. – Both the Suffolk University Men’s and Women’s Cross-Country teams finished in seventh place as this weekend’s Lt. Travis Miller Invitational hosted by Mass. Maritime Academy.
Suffolk’s Men finished with a total of 207 points. Justin Mark was the Rams’ top runner placing 34th with a time of 31:11. The Rams had four other runners place in the top 50. Matthew Bly (32:22), Allen Brooke (33:29), Clayton Fleener (33:54) and Tejsvee Singh (35:19) were Suffolk’s top five finishers in the five mile race.
The Women’s team finished with a total of 222 points. Bridget Evangelista was the Rams’ top finisher placing 32nd with a time of 22:40 in the three mile run. Bianca Bellot, Emily Farr, Cori Simmons and Cidney Carver all placed in the top five for the Rams.
