Rachel Perron, a freshman from Gardner, Massachusetts, led Suffolk with a fourth place finish in the 2008 Great Northeast Athletic Conference Women's Cross Country meet. With a time of 21:01 in the race, Perron earned a spot on the GNAC Women's Cross Country All-Conference team.

Two additional Suffolk women competed in the race at St. Joseph's Maine. Megan Scully took 49th place with a time of 24:56 and Elora Herberick finished 95th with a time of 31:30.
