Women’s Outdoor Track & Field Represented by Runners at UMass Lowell Invite

LOWELL, Mass.– Long distance runners donned the blue-and-gold for Suffolk women's outdoor track & Field at the UMass Lowell Invitational over the weekend at Cushing Field Complex  

Amalia Dorion shined for the Rams as the graduate student ran in a pair of events. In the 800, she finished third with a 2:22.95. It was the 1500 that she cemented herself in Suffolk's history books with a program-best time of 4:46.06 to top the 34-runner field. Dorion was joined in the 1500 by Sydney Fogg (4:95.52), Amy Pattelena (5:00.06) and Sofia Moukaddem (5:07.34). Fogg and Pattelena finished one after another in fifth and sixth, respectively, while Moukaddem took 13th.  

Suffolk is set to jet set to Williamsburg, Virigina, next weekend, April 4-5 for the Colonial Relays.
