Suffolk men's outdoor track & field saw an individual champion, two personal records broken and a Rams' record reset as the team combined for an 11th-place performance at the Tufts Snowflake Classic Saturday at the Gantcher Center.

Suffolk women's track & field saw two Rams produce personal records at Tufts Snowflake Classic Saturday at the Gantcher Center.

THE FIELD
A dozen teams including Suffolk will compete in Fitchburg State. Joining the Rams will be Division II foes Bentley and Franklin Pierce, and Division III counterparts, Worcester State, Mass. Maritime, St. Joseph's (Maine), Albany, Keene State, Maine Presque Isle, Southern Maine, UMass Boston and the host, Fitchburg State.
RAMS TO LOOK OUT FOR
- Matthew Smith aims to set a new personal and school record in the discus.
- Justin Turner and Sean Jacobsen will be running their first steeple chase of the season. The former is the current school record holder and he looks to lower that mark Saturday.
- Hayden Green and Jacob Dubin will race the 5k for the first time this year. Green attempts to lock up the top CCC time in the event this season.
- Cole Bolduc will race the 400 and is looking to qualify for New Englands for the second straight season in the event.
- Therese McKeagney will make her debut in the steeple chase, as well.
- Sarah Roberts will look to set a new PR in the 5k.
- Alyssa Rodriguez will make one lap in the 400, while Emily Concepcion will run the 100 for the first time.
- Julia Leavey and Nicole DiBenedetto will both be looking for new personal-best and school records in the high jump.

Suffolk splits up at two events next weekend: the Friar Invitational in Providence, Rhode Island, and the Bison Outdoor Classic in Lewisburg, Pennsylvania.
