NEW ORLEANS – For the first time in Suffolk women's outdoor track & field history, a Ram was acknowledged for her athletic performance regionally as freshman Caitlyn Filloramo grabbed All-East region status from the U.S. Track & Field Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) announced.
The distinction goes to the top-5 individuals in each event from each region in addition to each of the members of a top-3 ranked relay team following the conclusion of the regular season.
Filloramo, who hails from Southport, Connecticut, took home the feat in the hammer throw behind her 47.75-meter toss at the Regis Spring Classic, April 8, 2022.
The Ram is one of three Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) student-athletes to make the prestigious list along with Gordon's Abigail Baier in the heptathlon and Salve Regina's Courtney Collibee in the javelin.
