NEW LONDON, Conn. – Skylar Spanbauer represented the Suffolk women's outdoor track & field team at the Stiflen Invitational Friday night at the Stiflen Track on the campus of Connecticut College.  

A native of Guilderland, New York, Spanbauer clocked a 40:25.70 to take 13th in the 20-runner field and clinch her spot at regionals. Her performance is the 10th-best in the east this year.  

Suffolk continues its weekend Saturday, April 16 at a pair of events, the Penmen Relays and the Monks Invitational.
