BOSTON – Will Feldman has unveiled the Suffolk's men's and women's outdoor track & field teams 2022 schedule with both squads set to compete in seven meets in 2022.
The Rams return to outdoor action on Saturday, March 26 with a trip to Bridgewater State for the BSU Bears Invitational. From there, the blue-and-gold will head to Dussault Track in Medford, Massachusetts, for the Tufts Snowflake Classic on Saturday, April 2.
Two meets are on tap the following weekend as Suffolk splits up for the Regis Spring Invite Friday, April 8, tailed by the Jim Sheehan Invite at Fitchburg State the following day.
A trip to Southern New Hampshire Saturday, April 16 for the Penmen Relays precedes a pit stop at MIT Saturday, April 23 for the Sean Collier Invitational.
A chance for a Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) Crown is on the line seven days later as the CCC competition meets in Wenham, Massachusetts Saturday, April 30 for the conference championships at Gordon. The women look to upstage their fourth-place performance a year ago, while the men will fight for the first-ever CCC title as the league adopted men's outdoor track & field as a championship competition earlier this fall.
From there, the Rams that qualified will head to NCAA Division III New England Regional Championships at Williams, May 6-7, with a spot at NCAAs on the line. This year, nationals will send student-athletes to Geneva, Ohio over Memorial Day Weekend.
In between regionals and NCAAs, Suffolk student-athletes may compete at New England Intercollegiate Amateur Athletic Association (NEICAAA) Championships May 13-14 and have one final chance at earning a spot at nationals at MIT's Final Qualifier Thursday, May 19.
