BIDDEFORD, Maine – Behind three wins in each event she competed in at the Gordon Invite, Allison Rodrigues garnered CCC Field Athlete of the Week honors for the second time in as many weeks, the league office announced Monday afternoon.  

Rodrigues topped the hammer throw field with a personal-record 36.77-meter toss and secured first in the shot put and discus as well with a 27.77-meter throw and 10.64-meter showing.  

So far this season the junior captain from North Andover, Massachusetts, is unbeaten in each of the events she has participated in.  

The weekly honor is the second for Rodrigues this season. Overall, Suffolk's women's outdoor program has five weekly honors this year with two belonging to Rodrigues. Amanda Walden swept the conference's track athlete and rookie accolades a week ago, while Grace Dreher jumped her way to the league's best field rookie over a seven-day stretch last week.  

Rodrigues and the Rams are back in action this weekend at the Suffolk Invite, which is scheduled for Sunday, April 25 at Hingham High School.
