Kamara, Weisse Represent Women’s Track & Field at NCAA DIII NE Outdoor Championships

CAMBRIDE, Mass. – Sophomores Mariama Kamara and Emma Weisse of the Suffolk women's outdoor track & field team were the first-ever Rams to compete at the NCAA Division III Outdoor Championships May 3-5 at MIT's Morrison Track. Kamara and Weisse represented the Rams against the best-of-the-best in New England in the program's first varsity season. 

After qualifying to the championship thanks to a personal-best, time at the inaugural GNAC Championships, Kamara finished the 100 M Dash in a time of 13:07 to finish 25th overall. Weisse, meanwhile, took the 5000 Meter course and placed 10th out of 17 runners thanks to a time of 18:44.20.
