ROCHESTER, N.Y. – Suffolk women's indoor track & field's Amalia Dorion represented the Rams at the 2025 NCAA Division III Track & Field Championships at the Gosliano Training Center on the campus of Nazareth over the Weekend.
Dorion, a graduate student from El Paso, Texas, ran the mile in 5:00.47 good for 15th in the 20-participating field.
The long-distance runner became the third-ever Rams' female to make NCAAs, first since Emily Manfra did so in 2020 and first to compete since Manfra ran the mile in 2019. She was one of two Conference of New England (CNE) student-athletes to compete as her league counterpart Rachel Brennan of Gordon ran in the mile as well. She was one of two blue-and-gold runners at NCAAs as Tim Barry raced the men's mile. They are the first-ever Suffolk male and female teammates to compete at indoor nationals in the same season in program history.
