CAMBRIDGE, Mass. – Suffolk women's indoor track & field had four Rams produce personal-best at MIT's Gordon Kelly Invitational Saturday at the Johnson Athletic Center Track.
RAMS RECORDS
- Maria Gallant registered a personal-best in the 800 of 3:02.13.
- Megan Dunn logged a career-high in the 1000 of 3:22.20.
- Katarina Ferreira produced a personal record of 7:19.74 in the mile.
- Emma Withers recorded a career-high 9.48-meter throw in the weight throw.
RAMS RUNNERS
- Shannon Groom as the runner-up in the 600 (1:48.18) and ran the 200 (29.91).
- Aida Bellal made one lap around the track in 1:08.94.
- Gallant clocked a 3:02.13 in the 800.
- Dunn (3:22.20) and Allison Martin (3:31.52) represented the Rams in the 100 and claimed third and sixth, respectively.
- Ferreira finished the mile in 7:19.74, good for 15th.
JUMPERS JIST
- Averie Denelle was the runner-up in the high jump as she cleared 1.56 meters. Catherine Brown's 1.46-meter showing was good for 12th.
- Devyn Battistoni cleared 3.40 meter sin the pole vault to claim sixth.
- Sasha Helfgott-Waters took ninth in the triple jump with a 9.31-meter effort.
THROWERS THOUGHTS
- Gracie O'Connell (8.54) and Divinety Johnson (8.31) heaved the shot put.
- O'Connell (11.48), Johnson (10.31), Withers (9.48), Bailee Mallet (9.45) and Lydia Comprosky (8.45) competed in the weight throw.

Suffolk is set to compete at the USATF New England Indoor Track & Field Championship Sunday, Feb. 23 at the Gordon Indoor Track at Harvard.
