NORTON, Mass. - A pair from Suffolk women's indoor track & field participated in the pole vault at Wheaton's Lyons Invite Saturday at Beard Field House. 

Devyn Battistoni shined in the event as the sophomore from Simsbury, Connecticut clinched a spot at New Englands behind a 3.43-meter effort, good for second in the six-competitor field. Battistoni's teammate and classmate Kara Sickle, meanwhile, shared fifth with a 3.25-meter perforamnce. 

The twosome is set to return to action next weekend at Boston University's John Thomas Terrier Classic.
