BOSTON – Two long distance runners from the Suffolk women's indoor track & field team got their 2024-25 season underway in record-setting fashion Sydney Fogg and Sofia Moukaddem as the pair wore the blue-and-gold at the Early Bird Invite at the Track at New Balance.  

The senior and sophomore ran the 5000 and both compiled personal records. Fogg finished in 18:17.68, not only good for 13th in the field of 35, but sealed the captains spot at New Englands at the end of February. Moukaddem, meanwhile, took 18th behind a 18:35.70 showing.  

The twosome is idle until Saturday, Jan. 11 when the Rams host the Suffolk Ice Breaker Invitational at the Track at New Balance.
