HOW IT HAPPENED
The partnership of Chloe Pszenny and Megha Tenneti bested Zuri Walters and Saige Croce on the second court. It was UMass Dartmouth that took the doubles point though as it captured victories on the first and third doubles slots around the Rams win.

Pszenny leveled the playing field at 1-all when the sophomore blanked Croce, 6-0, 6-0, in the fourth position.

Jaylin Hills gained the edge for the blue-and-gold as the junior downed Lauren Burgees, 6-1, 6-3, in the sixth spot to give Suffolk a 2-1 advantage.

The Corsairs regained the upperhand with triumphs at the top two courts.

Now down 3-2, Rachel Hill evened things at 3-all behind her 7-5, 6-2 victory over Sofia Beltran.

The match would come down to the fifth position where Nishnianidze faced Kayli Langan. Suffolk's junior won the first set, 6-4, but fell in the next two, 6-3, 6-3, which allowed UMD to seal the Rams' 4-3 setback.
