Women’s Tennis Drops 4-3 CNE Contest at Curry

MILTON, Mass. – Suffolk women's tennis fell to Curry, 4-3, in Conference of New England action at the Trent J. Scott Courts Tuesday afternoon.

HOW IT HAPPENED
The doubles courts finished in reverse order. The Colonels grabbed the third before Rachel Hill and Nia Bebb managed to take down Grace Coopee and Cayla Osowski, 6-4, in the seond slot. Caren Urbano and Megha Tenneti fell to Curry's top tandem of Ella Hurley and Serena Wilson, 6-4, to give the Colonels the 1-0 edge after doubles play.  

Urbano righted the doubles wrong as she bested Hurley in the first singles spot, 6-2, 6-2, to level the playing field at 1-all. 

Chloe Pszenny defeated Cayla Osowski, 7-6 (8-6), 6-3) in the fifth spot to give the Rams a 2-1 upperhand.  

The Colonels caught up with single decisions at No. 3, No. 4 and No. 2 to seal Suffolk's setback. 

Elene Nishnianidze managed to comeback and defeat Kaitlyn Foster, 2-6, 6-4, 6-4, for the 4-3 final
