BOSTON – Suffolk women's tennis takes a break from conference competition Thursday, Sept. 17 when it travels to Rhode Island College for a 3:30 p.m. match.

Suffolk women's tennis was stumped by Gordon, 7-0, in its Conference of New England debut Tuesday afternoon at the Brigham Athletic Center.

RAMS RUNDOWN
Suffolk is 0-2 on the season after falling to Salem State, 6-1, and Gordon, 7-0.
The Rams second tandem of Rachel Hill and Nia Bebb are unbeaten, 2-0, despite the Rams not being able to secure a doubles point yet this year.
Individually, Elene Nishniandize is the lone blue-and-gold player to win a singles match this season. The junior is 1-1 in the sixth slot. Caren Urbano, Megha Tenneti and Bebb have held down the top half of the ladder for the Rams.
ANCHORMEN ACKNOWLEDGEMENTS
Rhode Island College is undefeated, 7-0. The Anchormen have rolled past its competition this season with five of their seven victories coming in shutout fashion.
Lauren Macera has played six matches in the top singles slot. She is 6-0. Erica Botelho is the usual second spot staple and sports a 4-1 record at the place in the line-up.
Doubles wise the twosome of Boethelo and Macera are 5-1 as the top tandem.
