
BOSTON – After a one-day postponement, Suffolk women's tennis heads to West Hartford, Connecticut, Tuesday, Sept. 12 to continue its season-opening road swing when it visits Saint Joseph (Conn.) for a 4:00 p.m. contest.

Suffolk women's tennis 2023 season debut was spoiled by Simmons as the Sharks took down the Rams, 6-3, Wednesday afternoon at Daly Courts.

RAMS RUNDOWN
Suffolk fell in its 2023 debut to Simmons, 6-3, Sept. 6 to carry a 0-1 mark into Monday's outing.
The Rams were swept in doubles play, but saw Caren Urbano (No. 1), Nia Bebb (No. 3) and Anastasiya Zakharava(No. 5) lock up points with singles wins in their respective spots.
BLUE JAYS BREAKDOWN
Saint Joseph (Conn.) fell 6-3 in its 2023 debut at Clark Friday, Sept. 8.
The Blue Jays third doubles tandem of Gia Alvarez and Nina Gardella is the only doubles pair to earn a victory this season. Alvarez is also unbeaten ins ingles play as she secured a triumph at No. 4 and Jillian Milo also entered the win column in singles play at the fifth position.
INSIDE THE SERIES
- The Rams are 15-1 all-time against the Blue Jays.
- Suffolk downed USJ last year, 6-3, Sept. 19, 2022.
