
BEVERLY – Suffolk women's tennis dropped an 8-1 Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) contest to Endicott Saturday afternoon on the Gulls' South Campus Courts.

HOW IT HAPPENED
Endicott grabbed every doubles match including a golden match in the second slot to take a 3-0 advantage into singles play. The Gulls rolled with five straight wins on courts two through six to quickly lock up the match and grab an 8-0 lead.
Graduate student Sarah Mezini managed to eliminate the shutout with a third set tiebreaker on the top court. She grabbed set one, 6-3, loss the second game by an identical margin, and picked up the win to put the blue-and-gold on the board with a 14-12 third-set decision.
