HOW IT HAPPENED
With the score level at 4-all, Cisneros Garcia, a junior in the third position, took down the Seahawks Erin Stangel, 7-5, 6-3, to lift the Rams to victory.

Salve Regina was first on the board as the tandem of Abigail Burke and Anna Godshalk defeated Ahilya Malhoutra and Danlyn Medou, 8-3, at No. 3. The Seahawks stretched their lead to 2-0 as Laura Krick and Stangel took down Delaney Dunlap and Keely Hardy, 8-4, on the first court.

Isabel Rathlev and Jacquelyn Nakamura partnered up to trim the margin to one as the senior co-captains rallied for a 9-7 victory against Darcy Carlin and Priscilla Gaspard.

Malhoutra leveled the playing field at 2-all as the freshman put together a 6-1, 6-0 decision in the sixth spot over Annemarie Haas.

The team's traded points from there, as Rathlev fell to Gaspard, 6-1, 6-1, in the second spot, before the reigning GNAC Corvias Player of the Medou, bested Carlin, 6-1, 6-1, at No. 5.
