CAMBRIDGE, Mass. – The Suffolk women's tennis team extended its win streak to three straight Monday night as the Rams took down Boston neighbor Lesley, 7-2, at Buckingham, Browne & Nichols.

HOW IT HAPPENED
Suffolk took a quick 2-0 lead with wins on the third and second doubles court. Danlyn Medou and Ahilya Malhourta combined for the first victory of the day as the sophomore/freshman team put together a golden match over Lesley's Sara Stanton and Rachel Miningham. Delaney Dunlap and Keely Hardy followed with an 8-1 victory in the second slot over Jessica Russo and Maddie Abbott. 

The Lynx got on the board and trimmed the Rams' edge to one as Isabel Rathlev and Elena Cisernos Garcia fell to Caroline Kiddie and Theresa Pereira 8-3 at No. 1 doubles. 

Tides turned back in favor of the blue-and-gold as it rattled off four consecutive singles victories to secure the win. Meagn French defeated Tea Ryder, 6-1, 6-1 in the sixth spot. Medou claimed a 6-0, 6-2 win versus Stanton in the fifth position and Hardy locked up the win with a 6-4, 6-2 triumph over Russo on court four. 

Dunlap continued the winning ways for Suffolk with the ace recording a 6-0, 6-3, decision versus Kiddie. 

Pereira defeated Rathlev, 6-2, 6-0, at No. 3 to break up the Rams' consecutive victories, before Cisnoers Garcia ended the night on a high note for the blue-and-gold with a 6-4, 6-2 win over Abbott to seal the 7-2 fate for Suffolk. 

NOTEWORTHY

• Suffolk remains unbeaten all-time versus Lesley, improving to 4-0 against the Lynx. 

WHAT'S NEXT?
Suffolk heads to Newport, Rhode Island, Thursday, Oct. 5 where the Rams will look to push its win streak to four at Salve Regina. The non-conference contest is set for a 3:30 p.m. first serve.
