The Suffolk University Women's Tennis team made a clean sweep over the Mount Ida College Mustangs in Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) action on Wednesday evening by a 9-0 score.
Four players for Suffolk earned multiple wins on the evening.
Sophomore Aidiana Sagyndykova (Almaty, Kazakhstan) improved to an 8-1 record on the year in singles play as she took the number on individual game by 6-1, 6-0 scores.
Senior Adrianna Garrett (Plymouth, Mass.) won game number two in straight sets by 6-0 scores.
Both Sagyndykova and Garrett with 8-2 winners in the top doubles game.
Junior Rebecca Eshoo (Farmington, Conn.) took game number three in singles play by winning 6-1, 6-0. She also earned a win in doubles play alongside fellow classmate Abby Trigilio (Ipswich, Mass.) with an 8-0 sweep in the second doubles game.
Freshman Isabel Rathlev (Wellesley, Mass.) took singles game number five with back to back 6-0 scores and also partnered with freshman Jacqueline Nakamura (Rancho Sante Fe, Calif.) for an 8-1 doubles victory.
Rounding out the field for Suffolk were junior Lyndsay Reese (Saco, Me.), who won singles game number four and junior Anna Gleason (Plymouth, Mass.) who won the sixth individual game.
The victory improves Suffolk to a 5-5 overall record on the year and 3-1 mark in GNAC play.
They will be back in action on Saturday as they travel to Anna Maria College at noon.
