Aidiana Sagyndykova Named All-Conference Selection by GNAC

Freshman Aidiana Sagyndykova (Almaty, Kazakhstan) of the Suffolk University Women's Tennis team was a first-team All-Conference selection by the Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) for the 2013 season.

Sagyndykova finished the year with a 5-3 record as she competed in eight of Suffolk's 14 matches as their number one singles player. She recorded a 3-1 mark in GNAC contests on the year. Sagyndykova was also a victor in three of seven doubles contests this season bringing her victory total to eight for the year.
 

Alongside her All-Conference honors, Sagyndykova was also named to the GNAC All-Tournament team as she helped Suffolk reach the semi-finals round of this year's tournament. Sagyndykova was a perfect 4-0 in singles and doubles action combined in the Rams' two playoffs contests as she was the lone Rams' player to earn multiple victories in their season ending setback, 6-3 to Johnson & Wales University on Saturday.

Suffolk finished the season with a 5-9 overall record, they were the number three seed in the GNAC Tournament this year as they were 4-3 in conference matches on the year.
