Women's Tennis Set To Open Up GNAC Playoffs

The Suffolk University Women's Tennis team (8-3, 6-2 GNAC) will open to 2010 Great Northeast Athletic Conference playoffs hosting the Mount Ida College Mustangs (5-7, 3-5 GNAC) on Wednesday evening at 6:30pm over at Buckingham, Browne & Nichols in Cambridge.

The third-seeded Rams will take on the sixth-seeded Mustangs in the single elimination tournament.

Simmons College (11-4, 8-0 GNAC) finished with the top-seed, while Emerson College (10-1, 7-1 GNAC) finished number two. Fourth seeded Emmanuel College (8-5, 5-3 GNAC) will host Johnson & Wales (6-7, 4-4 GNAC) in the other GNAC Quarterfinals matchup.

The Rams topped Mount Ida 9-0 in their previous meeting this season, 9-0 on October 8th.
