Kate Donovan has joined Suffolk women's soccer's coaching staff for her first season in 2024. On top of her coaching responsibilities on Ellie McDougall's staff, Donovan will be working towards her law degree at Suffolk.
Donovan was a three-year letterwinner at Syrcayse where she earned her Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and Psychology in May 2021. The forward laced up her cleats in 39 games for the Orange, starting 20. She scored three goals and assisted on one other to finish her collegiate career with seven points.
The Boxford, Massachusetts local served as the spoeksperson and repsentative for the women's soccer team on Syrcausee Studetn Athlete Adivsory Committee (SAAC) and was the athlete representative for the Sexual and Relationship Violence Task Force from 2018-2021. Donovan wrapped up her time in up-state New York on teh Diversity and Inclusion Student-Athlete Board Representative where she worked as the athlete liaison for diversity, equity and inclusion.
Away from the pitch, Donovan works as a Judicial Intern at the Essex Probate an Family Court and works as a staff member for the Journal of High Technology Law, and belongs to the Enivormental Law Society.
