
NASHUA, N.H. – It was a case of déjà vu for the Rams in their non-conference finale as Suffolk women's soccer wrapped up its out-of-league slate with a scoreless draw for the second straight season, this time against Rivier Wednesday night at Merrill Field.
A year ago, the blue-and-gold played its Beantown foe UMass Boston to a 0-0 tie to wrap up non-conference play.

HOW IT HAPPENED
Suffolk tested Rivier's keeper Bri Nugent seven times through the contest, three times in the first frame and four in the second. The Raiders goalie stood up to the challenge as she denied all seven attempts to keep the Rams of the scoreboard.
Sophia Barker, meanwhile, faced one lone shot, in the 85th minute. Suffolk's junior turned aside to hold the Raiders scoreless.
KEEPING UP WITH THE KEEPERS
- Barker had one save in the stalemate.
- Nugent notched seven stops in the draw.
STATISTICALLY SPEAKING
- Suffolk commanded shots, outshooting the Raiders, 13-4, including a 7-1 shots on target advantage.
- Individually, Maci Pekmezian led the way with four shots, half of which were on goal.
- Kylie Flynn and Daniela Petronio had two shots each with one shot to on net apiece.
- The Rams also took more corners than the host, 5-2.
NOTEWORTHY
- Suffolk and Rivier renewed a rivalry, meeting for the first time since 2019.
