EAST BOSTON – Suffolk women's soccer was held off the scoreboard by the University of New England as the Nor'Easters controlled the pace of play, scored a pair of goals in each half to defeat the Rams, 4-0, in Conference of New England (CNE) action Saturday afternoon at James A. Sartori Stadium at East Boston Memorial Park

HOW IT HAPPENED
The Nor'Easters built a two-goal gap over a 3:13 span about 20 minutes into the action. First, Karley Belisle played a ball at the midfield and slipped the rock through multiple Rams defenders where a zooming Tori Keyes picked it up. Arden Ferrari-Henry was pulled out of position to stop the one-on-one, but Keyes managed to tuck the ball away easily to put the visitors on the board.

Just over three minutes later, Lizzie Frattaroli made a cross from the right sidelines that was redirected in front by Kylie Curtin for Keyes to put it away and double the distance.

Suffolk had a late corner kick but was unable to capitalize and headed to the locker room chasing two.

One of the Rams best chances to score came in the 61st minute off Chelsea Fallon's boot. The senior captain's shot from the just inside the 10-yard line on the right sideline flew wide left to keep a zero on the blue-and-gold's side of the board.

UNE used another pair of quick goals to stretch its advantage to four. This time the visitors put away two goals in 2:18 to put the Rams in a 4-0 hole. Keyes completed her natural hat trick at the 61:59 mark on a feed from Belisile and Curtin. Belisile put her own goal away just over two minutes later thanks to help from Curtin and Brooke Pierotti.

Isa Peraza and Gianna Maina both managed to put one shot on target to test UNE's keepers. Anna Flaherty denied the first and Haley Coombs stopped the second to hold the Rams scoreless.
