BEVERLY, Mass. – Suffolk women's soccer's Sinclaire Hart was selected as Conference of New England (CNE)'s Rookie of the Week thanks to her game-tying goal effort versus Lesley, the league office announced Monday.
Hart, a freshman from Keswick, Virginia, notched her first collegiate point at Lesley Tuesday, Sept. 17. With the blue-and-gold down 1-0, the midfielder leveled the playing field with her first collegiate goal to aid in the 1-1 draw with the Lynx.
She also saw time in the conference opener at Gordon Saturday.
Hart collected her first weekly award. She is the third Ram to be recognized with a CNE weekly award this season as Mackenzie Metka was tabbed the best rookie over a seven-day stretch a week ago and Arden Ferrari-Henry was named the league's best defensive player Sept. 9.
Suffolk returns to action tomorrow, Tuesday, Sept. 24 when it welcomes Fisher to East Boston Memorial Park's James A. Sartori Stadium for a 7:00 p.m. kick-off.
