
CHICOPEE, Mass. – Suffolk women's soccer got the 2024 season underway in the win column as the Rams scored one goal in each half and Arden Ferrari-Henry was perfect in net en route to a 2-0 victory over Elms Saturday afternoon at Leary Field.

HOW IT HAPPENED
Avery Porter pushed the Rams on the board 30 minutes into the game as the sophomore put away a set-up from Charli Adams. That lead remained at half time as Suffolk commanded the pace of play in the first set of 45 minutes.
The Blazers first and only attempt on target came in the 53rd minute. Luckily for the Rams, Ferrari-Henry remained fresh and denied the attempt to keep the 1-0 lead in Suffolk's favor.
At the 70:07 mark, Chelsea Fallon padded the margin with an unassisted strike to make it 2-0 Rams, which held true at the final buzzer as Elms was unable to put another attempt on target the rest of the way.
