Women’s Soccer Announces 2024 Schedule

2024 SUFFOLK WOMEN'S SOCCER SCHEDULE

BOSTON – Less than a month away from its season opener, the Suffolk women's soccer team has released its 2024 schedule. The 19-game regular-season slate features 10 contests at the friendly confines of East Boston Memorial Park's James A. Sartori Stadium.

"We are very excited about the schedule we put together for the 2024 season," head coach Ellie McDougall said. "We have scheduled several competitive teams from various conferences that will challenge and prepare us for the later part of the year when we begin conference play."

McDougall continued, "The conference is tougher than ever, we look forward to competing at a high level."

Suffolk will begin their fifth consecutive campaign of competition against Elms as the Rams head to Chicopee, Massachusetts Sunday, Sept. 1.

The first road trip is followed by a four-game homestand that brings UMass Dartmouth (Sept. 3), Worcester State (Sept. 7), Fitchburg State (Sept. 10) and Framingham State (Sept. 14) to Eastie.

The blue-and-gold heads back out on the road Tuesday, Sept. 17 with a trip to Lesley that precedes the Conference of New England opener, a Saturday, Sept. 21 showdown at Gordon.

A Tuesday, Sept. 24 tilt with Fisher comes before a Saturday, Sept. 28 conference outing versus the University of New England.

Action see-saws between road and home bouts over the next three weeks. Suffolk will visit Rivier (Oct. 2), Nichols (Oct. 12) and Curry (Oct. 19) and entertain Hartford (Oct. 5) and Western New England (Oct. 15) in that span.

Endicott and Roger Williams stops by Beantown to wrap up the Rams home slate Wednesday, Oct. 23 and Saturday, Oct. 26, respectively, with the regular-season wrapping up in a cross city clash at Wentworth Tuesday, Oct. 29.

McDougall enters her third season at Suffolk. A year ago, she led the Rams to the conference semifinals for the first time since 2016 and fourth time overall. Back in blue-and-gold looking to lead the way is all-conference performers Makena Columbus (3g, 2a) and Avery Porter (4g).
