STANDISH, Maine – Suffolk women's soccer was kept off the scoreboard in Vacation Land as Saint Joseph's (Maine) cruised past the Rams, 3-0, in GNAC action at SJC Athletic Complex Wednesday night.

HOW IT HAPPENED
It was all SJC from the get go as they maintained possession of the ball over the first set of 45 minutes not allowing the blue-and-gold to get one shot off and building a two-goal lead while doing so.  

The Monks managed to score within the first four minutes out of the locker room to push its cushion to three. 

The Rams looked to rally and had three chances. Carley Pearce's was blocked by the Monks' defense, one of Caleigh O'Brien's went wide and the other found Adia Grogan's gloves to keep Suffolk off the scoreboard.  

KEEPING UP WITH THE KEEPERS

• Allison Rodrigues was put the test as the sophomore faced 18 shots and picked up 15 of them. 
• Grogan earned the victory with a one-save effort of 81:10 of action. 
• Cori Balam relieved Grogan for the final 8:50.  

STATISTICALLY SPEAKING

• O'Brien was responsible for 66 percent of Suffolk's shots with the only attempt on net.
• Pearce had one shot to her credit. 
• Shots and corners were lopsided in SJC's favor, 25-3 and 7-2, respectively.  

NOTEWORTHY

• Rodrigues recorded a personal-best 15 saves. 
• The 15-save effort is the most goal since Melissa Brouillette had 16 against Simmons Nov. 5, 2013. 
• The 15 stops tie for third-most all-time in a single game.
