BOSTON – The Suffolk women's soccer team closes a four game road stretch Saturday, Sept. 28 when it stops by Regis for a 4 p.m. GNAC battle.

LAST TIME OUT
Less than three minutes into the first overtime, Addisyn Lanza potted the game-winner to break open a 2-all tie and push Suffolk women's soccer to a 3-2 victory over Anna Maria in GNAC action at AMCAT Field Wednesday night.

RAMS RUNDOWN
Suffolk collected its fourth win of the season in thrilling fashion, a 3-2 overtime victory at Anna Maria Wednesday night, to improve to 2-1-0 in GNAC action and 4-2-0 overall. 

Caleigh O'Brien sits atop the scoring charts for the Rams with team bests numbers in goals (5), assists (4) and points (14). Liv Hurley and Caitlyn Ryan share second on the squad in scoring with three goals each. Julia Hunt and Carley Pearce have had a knack for setting-up goals this season with the sophomores owning two helpers each. 

Allison Rodrigues has been a wall in net for Suffolk. The sophomore boasts a .838 save percentage and a 0.93 GAA through six contests for an identical 4-2-0 individual record between the posts.

REGIS ROUNDUP
Regis dipped to 4-4-0 on the year and 1-1-0 versus league foes after falling in back-to-back outings.

Kaylee Francis leads all offensive categories for the Pride with four goals and six handouts. Emily Lange is not far behind with three markers, while Brianna Gaynor, Valerie Gordon, Alex Maher and Emma Mendes have added two goals to Regis' offensive output.

Angie Caldwell and Ori Attridge have split time in net. Attridge has proven herself as the Pride's usual starter and holds a 1.71 GAA and .767 save percentage over eight starts. Caldwell, meanwhile has put together a state line of 3.60 GAA and .385 save percentage in five appearances.

INSIDE THE SERIES

  • The Suffolk, Regis series is one of the newest in the Rams' history, beginning in 2015.
  • The blue-and-gold has matched the Pride in wins, each holding two victories in four encounters all-time.
  • The last two meetings between the programs have gone to overtime. In 2017, Caleigh O'Brien lifted Suffolk to a 3-2 OT triumph with a game-winner 37 seconds into the extra session. In 2018, Regis flipped the roles, taking a 2-1 OT decision.
