NEW LONDON, N.H. – Suffolk women's soccer saw its winning ways come to an end Saturday afternoon as the Rams were kept off the scoreboard at Colby Sawyer in GNAC action, 2-0, at Kelsey Field.

HOW IT HAPPENED
A pair of first half goals proved to be the difference for CSC. The first strike came inside the first 15 minute as Sydney Jimmo snuck the rock past Allison Rodrigues to give the hosts the early edge. Twenty minutes later Moly MacLure added to the margin with help from Grace Walsh.  

Suffolk's shots were limited despite having an advantage in corners (7-3) and the two-goal distance was never made up by the blue-and-gold.  

KEEPING UP WITH THE KEEPERS

  • Allison Rodrigues turned aside seven shots in the setback. 
  • Sam Mitchell picked up all five shots she faced.  

STATISTICALLY SPEAKING

  • The Rams were outshot, 16-11. 
  • The Chargers put nine shots on target compared to Suffolk's five.

In the midst of a three-game road stretch, Suffolk takes its talents to Anna Maria Wednesday, Sept. 25 for a 4:30 p.m. conference clash.
