HOW IT HAPPENED
Suffolk lit the lamp early and often with freshman Julia Hunt completing a hat trick over the first 20 minutes of play. Hunt's third goal of the night came in the 17th minute and pushed the Rams' advantage to 5-0. During that stretch Carley Pearce found the back of the net twice as well.

Over the remainder of the first set of 45 minutes Cassie Cavender and Emerson Wildes struck once and Caleigh O'Brien put two away to send Suffolk into the locker room with a hefty 9-0 lead.

Suffolk maintained possession for the majority of the second stanza before a glimpse of lightening called the game in the blue-and-gold's favor in the 71st minute.
