BOSTON – The Suffolk women's soccer team steps out of GNAC play Monday, Sept. 26 when the Rams stop by Lesley for an 8 p.m. non-conference contest.

LAST TIME OUT
The Suffolk women's soccer team saw its GNAC win streak halted Saturday afternoon as the Rams were defeated by Lasell, 4-0, at Taylor Field.

RUNDOWN ON THE RAMS
Suffolk slid to 4-3 on the year and 1-1 in the GNAC after a 4-0 setback to Lasell Saturday afternoon. 

Jennifer Martin and Alexandra Nagri are one-two on the team and two-three in the league in goals with seven and six, respectively. The junior twosome also matches those rankings in points with 14 and 13, respectively.

Defensively, Kirsten Weiker has held down the majority of action for the Rams. The sophomore keeper has 48 saves with an .842 save percentage and 1.57 goals-against average. 

LYNX LOWDOWN
Lesley has dropped back-to-back 1-0 contests first to Emerson and then at Elms to bring a 4-3-2 record into Monday night. 

Samantha Bessey paces Lesley with four goals and two assists for 10 points, with Karlie Rubin also netting four goals. Seven other Lynx have goals to their credit. 

Lesley has utilized two different goalkeepers this fall. Lilly Donovan has played the most minutes and is 3-3-2 with 39 saves and a 0.83 goals-against average. Brittley Gaan sports a 1-0-0 record with one save.

INSIDE THE SERIES
Since the series began in 2012, Suffolk has been unable to defeat Lesley with the Rams trailing the all-time series 0-4-0. The Lynx have also outscored the blue-and-gold, 11-2, in the past four seasons.           

EYES ON THE GAME

SHUTOUT
All four of the Rams' victories this season are shutouts. The four cleansheets in one year are the most since matching that number in 2013.  

SCORING FRENZY
In the 9-0 victory Wednesday night at Wheelock, Suffolk poured in the most goals (9) since scoring 12 in a 12-0 shutout win over Anna Maria Oct. 24, 2012. The nine tallies are the fourth most goals all-time in the program's 10-year history, with the Rams' tallying nine goals on two other occasions, both 9-0 wins – Oct. 14, 2009 vs. Mass. Maritime and Oct. 13, 2010 vs. Newbury.

MAGINIFICENT MARTIN
Jennifer Martin, who is the first Ram with a multi-goal game since Alexandra Nagri netted two in the season finale last season at Mount Ida, racked up four tallies in the 9-0 triumph at Wheelock Wednesday. Her offensive outpour, she ties the fourth-most goals in a single-game by a Ram and is the most goals by a Ram since Leslie Hayden and Lauren Cameron netted five and four, respectively at Anna Maria Oct. 10, 2011. The junior is also the first Ram to net a hat trick since Nagri did so in a 4-3 win at St. Joseph (Conn.) Sept. 19, 2015.

For the second straight year, Suffolk Athletics invites all members of Ram Nation to East Boston Memorial Park for a double feature soccer contest and #RamsFanFest Saturday, Oct. 15.

SUFFOLK FREE RADIO
Suffolk Athletics has teamed up with Suffolk Free Radio to bring Ram Nation 17 live broadcasts of Suffolk soccer games this season.

COMING UP
The Rams remain on the road Wednesday, Sept. 28 when it returns to GNAC play at Johnson & Wales. Suffolk and the Wildcats are scheduled for 7 p.m. game.
