
NEWTON, Mass. - The Suffolk women's soccer team saw its GNAC win streak halted Saturday afternoon as the Rams were defeated by Lasell, 4-0, at Taylor Field.

HOW IT HAPPENED
After a scoreless first frame, Lasell came out thriving in the second stanza netting four goals and holding off Suffolk to secure the victory.

Kirsten Weiker earned the start and played 77 minutes. The sophomore keeper made 10 saves in the setback.

In relief, Jordan Pettograsso had two saves to her credit.

Sarah LaClair turned away both attempts she faced in 80 minutes of play.

Caitlin Greco came in for the final 9:53 and did not see an attempt by the rams.
Suffolk takes just one day rest before returning to the pitch, when the Rams stop by Lesley Monday, Sept. 26 for an 8 p.m. match.
