The Suffolk University Women's Soccer team played to a 3-3 tie with the Mound Ida College Mustangs in Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) on Saturday afternoon.

Freshman Jessica Harmon (Huntington Beach, Calif.) scored a pair of goals for Suffolk who played to their third straight tie in GNAC matches over the past week.

Junior Isabelle Moody (Naugatuck, Conn.) netted a pair of goals and added an assist for the Mustangs who move to a 2-2-1 mark in GNAC play and 3-7-1 record on the year.

Moody opened the scoring for the Mustangs just ten minutes into the contest as freshman Alee Bonola (Windsor, Conn.) found her in front of a wide open Suffolk net for the first strike of the game.

Nearly thirteen minutes later Moody would sprint out from the forty yard line as she pushed her way through the Suffolk defense and in all alone for her second tally of the game and team-high seventh of the season.

Senior Hannah McNulty (Stowe, Vt.) would get Suffolk on the board with five minutes remaining in the first half as she converted on a penalty kick. Freshman Alexandra Nagri (Salem, N.H.) would draw a foul in the box which would send McNulty in for the free kick, which she converted as she chose to shoot left for her second goal of the year.

Suffolk would come out quick in the second half scoring just four minutes after the break as freshman Erika Nelson (Peabody, Mass.) lofted a pass upfield to a streaking Harmon who would put in her first goal of the game to even things up 2-2.

Harmon would once again work her way past the Mustangs' defense as this time senior Lisa Gambale (Swampscott, Mass.) led her up field for her team leading fifth goal of the year.

With nine minutes remaining in the contest sophomore Hannah Brackett (Woorheesville, N.Y.) would connect on a shot from the left side just five yards out to even the game at 3-3.

Harmon would just narrowly miss recording a hat trick as she hit the cross bar three minutes into the overtime period for Suffolk.

Moody would also have a chance to record her third goal of the night five minutes into overtime but her shot would go wide of the net.

Suffolk would make a strong push in the final minute of the double overtime period when freshman Jennifer Martin (Higganum, Conn.) had her shot stopped with thirty seconds remaining by Mustangs senior goalkeeper Nickole Soto (Marlboro, Mass.).

Soto would make 10 saves in the contest for Mount Ida while her counterpart senior Melissa Brouillette (Shelton, Conn.) also made 10 saves for the Rams.

Mount Ida held a slight edge in shots in the game at 26-14.

Both teams will be back in GNAC action on Wednesday. Mount Ida will travel to Rivier University for a 7:00pm matchup with the Raiders. Suffolk will travel to Johnson & Wales University to take on the Wildcats at 4:00pm
